LOGOS AND BRAND IDENTITIES
CLIENT: INSANE CYBER
I designed these logos and comprehensive 100+ page brand guideline for Insane Cyber, an innovative Cyber Security company that specializes in OT cyber security products and services.
CLIENT: TREKFED
While at a tradeshow event, the team at TrekFed came across the booth I designed for Insane Cyber. They inquired about their Designer, and Insane Cyber was kind enough to recommend my services. TrekFed needed a new logo and brand identity to promote their tailored solutions for federal cloud adoption. They wanted a logo that symbolized their journey as a company, emphasizing the word 'trek' in their name. After some research, and more than a dozen presented logo options, they approved this logo, which symbolizes a trailmarker that guides their clients forward and upward to the cloud.
CLIENT: VANCOUVER BARTENDING ACADEMY
I took on this project with a $300 budget for a friend who has been a professional bartender for 3 decades. He was considering opening a bartending school, and needed a logo. I designed this character logo that highlights the busy and multifaceted nature of the industry. The character's serving tray with the VBA acronym was designed to be pulled from the logo for use on merch and as a secondary logo design.
CLINT: HOUND DOG SODA
This soda company was branching off in a new region and wanted a new logo to launch a line of specialty soda products. I used colors that were commonly printed with letterpress techniques before lithographic printers were developed in the early twentieth century to give it a vintage aesthetic. This bright, fun and cheery logo was designed to offer parents nostalgia for their childhoods— when lives were simpler and Saturday morning cartoons were followed by catching bugs and neighborhood games of kickball— giving them the opportunity to give their children a taste of the good 'ole days.
CLIENT: PORTLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE
When I first became the Graphic Designer for the Print Center at Portland Community College, the Manager of the department confided in me that the majority of the college staff and students weren't aware that the Print Center existed and that it was available as a resource for them and the greater Portland community. In my mind, that was an easy problem to solve, and I initiated my mission to rebrand the Print Center to gain visibility within the college. This logo was designed as part of that objective. This one-color logo was invented to work in any color, as the brand identity I created was all about playing with color and printing techniques. It was also designed to use as a watermark, and as a mark that could be used without copy on merch and published book spines.
